The idea is to have my IP autostart connect to my Cloud server,
this way I can remote control my Raspberry PI without having to configure DynDNS and firewall rules.
The only requsisite is that PI has internet and run a simple script on startup to estabilish the SSH tunnel

ssh copy key

You can login to a remote Linux server without entering password in 3 simple steps using ssky-keygen and ssh-copy-id as explained in this article.
The magical 3 commands are:
ssh-keygen -t rsa
ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub remote-host
ssh remote-hostls /tmp

Enable SSH in ESXi 3.5

By default this isn’t possible to SSH into VMWare ESXi 3.5 or any ESXi Server.
By enabling this you will also be able to easly copy files into the server by using WINSCP,
not as fast as FTP but it does the job. WinSCP also works under Linux by using Wine.

check_by_ssh,

Problem with Nagios check_by_ssh plugin is that it requires also the nagios-plugins to be installed on the client server. At least part of the nagios-plugins, because in the end all we need is to perform the local checks using ssh remote cmds.
So I put in a file nagiosclient.tar with the check scripts including some perl.The focus hereis to check Disk,Memory,Cpu of Linux remote servers. Without using SNMP, NRPE just plain SSH. I think its a great solution mainly because NRPE is a pain to install in Linux, in Windows its quite easy and I always try to use it combined with SNMP. SNMP is nice but its limited in what it can monitor, and sometimes it can get really messy. So lets start configuring SSH.
